ast week, the first physical consortium meeting took place. This meeting lasted two full days and consisted of several types of activities.

An article about the MegaMind program was published on the NWO website and in the I/O Magazine.

On 18th November 2021, Prof. Koen Kok, program leader for the MEGAMIND Program, hosted the two-day online kick-off event, which marked the official start of the program. Getting to know each another was one of the goals of this kick-off event. This goal was certainly met with a turn-out of almost 40 people, and thus giving a good representation of the industrial partners and knowledge partners.

Researchers pair artificial intelligence with regulatory reform to accelerate energy transition

The energy transition in the Netherlands is at risk of stagnation: while the demand for electricity is constantly increasing, the supply from sustainable sources is becoming increasingly erratic. Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e), together with three other universities, TNO and nine industrial partners, is therefore launching a research program aimed at finding new ways of breaking this impasse.
